It gets even more hilarious. Via Byron and John Miller below, I found this AP story which says:
Nobel observers were shocked by the unexpected choice so early in the Obama presidency, which began less than two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline.
So, he won the Peace Prize for what he did during his first two weeks in office? Or did the committee break its own rules?
