- Cantor spent more on steak than Brat’s entire campaign budget.
- Cantor’s top source of individual contributions was the Blackstone Group, a hedge fund and private-equity firm based on Park Avenue in Manhattan. Dave Brat’s top source of donations? Baugh Auto Body of Richmond, which has a “friendly staff that treats you like family.”
