Hensarling House Update

Depressing e-mail:

Though a majority of the Republican caucus voted in support of Rep. Hensarling’s position to stop the largest earmark in history, the motion passed.  The bill needed 145 votes to prevent it from being passed under a suspension of the rules, we got 121.   Leadership got less votes than the RSC.  But, together with the Democrats, the bill passed and DC got a nice Pork Dinner.
