Here Comes Mitt

To boost Nikki Haley:

Former Massachusetts GOP Gov. Mitt Romney will soon travel to South Carolina to stump for Nikki Haley in the state’s runoff of the GOP nomination for governor.

In a statement to POLITICO, Romney spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom said that Haley “represents a new generation of conservative leadership for South Carolina.”

“Governor Romney spoke with her by phone on election night, and he expects to be campaigning with her again,” Fehrnstrom said.

The two camps have yet to agree on a date.
