Here We Go Again

From Bill Glauber, on the scene in Madison:

Just after midnight Thursday and the Capitol protest was still going on in the rotunda, although people were beginning to filter out.

Demonstrators took over a first-floor information desk where they made peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches and dispensed water to the crowd. And, a few protesters started to unroll their sleeping bags.

Meanwhile, speaker after speaker criticized Walker over a portable sound system.

“This is phenomenal,” said Jo Schneider, a Madison resident. “What you see is a spontaneous coming together of people. There’s a lot of frustration in the crowd. No matter what people think of the content of the bills you have to disagree with the conduct of the legislators.”
