The Washington Post had a nice feature Sunday on the revival of the Republican party in an Indiana county through the eyes of the county chairman. This sentence spoke volumes:
Riley tried to rally support behind Sen. John McCain during the 2008 election because, he said, “it was a requirement of my job.”
“A requirement of my job”? Now that’s enthusiasm!
