Higher Education Reforms We Hope to See Next Year

There is much that could be done to improve higher education in the U.S., and the Martin Center’s staff has compiled a list of needed reforms:

  1. Jenna Robinson would like to see more differentiation in higher ed.
  2. I suggest that college leaders stop approving blatantly political courses.
  3. Shannon Watkins wants to see colleges make appropriate preparations for the nation’s 250th birthday in 2026.
  4. Ashlynn Warta would like to see a restoration of academic rigor.
  5. And Graham Hillard wants to keep Title IX out of collegiate sports money.
