During her visit to London, Hillary Clinton’s car was ticketed for being parked without payment. Though security agents attempted to keep the traffic warden from the car, the warden continued on undaunted to administer the ticket, according to a Daily Mail report.
A photographer who witnessed the scene claimed that five agents approached the warden, one waving his badge, but the warden issued an £80 ticket (which can be reduced to £40 if Clinton pays within 14 days) regardless.
“The former U.S. secretary of state was parked for nearly 45 minutes without paying.” Daniel Astaire, the Westminster City Council cabinet member for business said. “I’m sure she will understand that we have to be fair to everyone, regardless of their status on the world stage.”
