Why Did Hillary Clinton Spend Three and a Half Hours This Morning With The FBI?

On June 9, President Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. On Monday, June 27, purely by chance (so he says), Bill Clinton ran into Attorney General Loretta Lynch (who reports to Obama) at the airport (our 42nd President held his private jet to board Lynch’s government plane) and had a 30-minute conversation, which both now claim was purely social pleasantries. Lynch on Friday conceded that she would be bound by the recommendation of the FBI (which reports to her) on whether to indict Hillary. And today – by chance, or coincidence? – Hillary had a 3 1/2 hour interview with the FBI in connection with its probe of her private email server. I’m guessing they talked about more than just yoga:

“Secretary Clinton gave a voluntary interview this morning about her email arrangements while she was secretary,” Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement. “She is pleased to have had the opportunity to assist the Department of Justice in bringing this review to a conclusion.”

Clinton told MSNBC’s Chuck Todd Saturday evening that the interview was something “I had been eager to do.” An aide said the interview occurred at FBI headquarters in Washington Saturday morning.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever known anyone who was eager to speak to FBI investigators for three hours on a Saturday morning in an investigation targeting their conduct and that of their staff. I’m sure the timing of all of this is completely coincidental.
