Hillary: The More You Know . . .

E-mails from Hillary Clinton’s private server are slowly being released in batches — and each one reveals a little more about the woman we thought we knew so well. The revelations aren’t surprising, but they are a problem for Clinton, who is seeing her poll numbers drop and isn’t getting the coronation many had expected.

National Review shed light yesterday on the relationship Clinton had with partisan hack Sidney Blumenthal while she was secretary of state. E-mails revealed that Blumenthal, who was forbidden employment by the Obama White House, essentially functioned as a State Department employee, advising Clinton about Libya and messaging on crucial issues.

We also reported yesterday on the proof that White House aides weren’t forthcoming about being aware of Clinton’s private e-mail account. Both Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod were in the know about the e-mail system as far back as 2009.

The State Department plans to release a total of about 30,000 pages of e-mails over the next few months. What more will we learn of Clinton’s advisers and the staff that so eagerly works to cover her tracks? One thing is for sure: There’s a lot more the American people have to uncover about Hillary Clinton.
