Today Senate and House Democrats announced the agenda for the 6th Annual Democratic Hispanic Leadership Summit. The event will kick off on Thursday, September 15 at 9:30 A.M., in the Mansfield Room of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The Annual Summit is organized by Congressional Democrats as part of the Hispanic Heritage Month events, and is co-hosted by Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s Hispanic Working Group; the Senate Steering and Outreach Committee, chaired by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY), Steering’s Hispanic Task Force co-chaired by Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM) and Joseph Lieberman (D-CT), and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
