History Needed

I’ve got a ton of reader mail on this military path to citizenship idea.  I’m still plowing through it, but so far the mail seems about evenly divided between skeptics and fans.  A number of those for it are themselves military folks who’ve worked with legal immigrant recruits.  One reader sent me this report. A number of other readers mentioned that we had numerous Filipino recruits when we had bases in the Philippines (I believe this worked as a path to citizenship, too).  There is already apparently some sort of history on all this in the U.S., and it needs to be clarified.
