The Corner

Hock a Bee

E-mail, in response to this:

I always find it humorous that The Corner only posts the polls that Mitt Romney wins-I have yet to see the latest Rasmussen polls posted on the corner where Huckabee does best against Obama, Huckabee does best against Romney.  Then there are the PPP polls for seven months showing Huckabee doing best against Obama.  And now even Gallup and CNN have Huckabee in first. Why is The Corner afraid to show those polls where Huckabee is winning?

Afraid? Hardly. Here you go, Huck fans:

PRINCETON, NJ — Looking ahead to the 2012 presidential election, 71% of Republicans say they would seriously consider voting for Mike Huckabee. This gives Huckabee a slight edge over Mitt Romney (65%) and Sarah Palin (65%) in this early test of the strength of several potential Republican contenders. A majority of Republicans also say they would seriously consider voting for Newt Gingrich, but far fewer say they are currently ready to support the lesser-known Tim Pawlenty or Haley Barbour.

Also, here’s the latest PPP poll I could find:

Obama leads Mike Huckabee 47-43, Mitt Romney 48-40, Sarah Palin 52-40, and Tim Pawlenty 50-30.
