Attorney General Eric Holder again lashed out at sources revealing details from the Ferguson, Mo., grand jury reviewing the case of Michael Brown’s death, instructing them to simply “shut up.”

Holder was interviewed Wednesday in Washington by MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart, who asked him about reports that Ferguson police chief Tom Jackson will resign from office.

The attorney general reacted with annoyance. “I think that somebody, these leakers, have made the determination that they’re trying to somehow shape public opinion about this case,” he said. ”It is inconsistent with the way in which we conduct investigations, and especially grand-jury investigations which are supposed to be secret.”

“I said I’m exasperated — it’s a nice way of saying I’m mad,” he continued. “That’s just not how things should be done with people in law enforcement.”

“Whoever the sources of the leaks are need to shut up,” the attorney general said.
