House Passes Ryan–Murray Budget

The House passed the budget deal reached by Representative Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) and Senator Patty Murray (D., Wash.) tonight. The vote was 332–94, with Republicans strongly in favor, 169–62.

The bill will authorize $1.012 trillion worth of discretionary spending in 2014, more than the $967 billion scheduled under sequestration, and the Senate will take it up next week.
