Mad Men fans — and there are many of us — knowing that this season takes place in 1963, have been wondering how the show will treat the One Big Historic Event of that year. Tonight, the show’s writers gave us a big wink. Adulterous scoundrel Roger Sterling — who is paying for his daughter’s wedding but may himself be forbidden to attend, lest he bring his new bimbo trophy fiancée — is looking over the design for the wedding invitations. The date for the wedding is Saturday, November 23.
Young Miss Sterling has grown up, in a sense, quite privileged; but she is definitely unlucky.
