So bad that two members of the House Republican leadership voted against
it: majority whip Roy Blunt and deputy whip Eric Cantor. The president
threatened to veto a bill that was larger than $256 billion. The House
bill is $276 billion, and the Senate bill is $318 billion. If the final
bill is not a lot smaller, the president will have to make good on his
veto threat–and at least two members of the Republican leadership will
support him.
