Want to hear something worse?

I just called Senator Cornyn’s office and got a message in Spanish. It’s pretty clear whose side he’s on in this debate, and it sure isn’t mine.

UPDATE: I should take issue with that last line: I think this senator is probably on the e-mailer’s side. But the phone message is the wrong message — and doesn’t strike me as too representative of Cornyn.

ANOTHER UPDATE: The Cornyn office report confusion by the e-mail; a staffer tells me “none of our offices have any Spanish messages.”
