Howard Zinn, R.I.P.

The left-wing popular historian has died. Unless something else comes out, his contribution to a symposium in The Nation on Year One of the Age of Obama will be his final public utterance:

I think people are dazzled by Obama’s rhetoric, and that people ought to begin to understand that Obama is going to be a mediocre president.
