A Humbling Morning for Willful Blindness

With the election campaign dominating our thoughts and attention spans, I haven’t had much to say in recent weeks about my book, Willful Blindness: A Memoir of the Jihad.  But I was humbled this morning to find two very kind plugs.

First is a review by Steve Emerson in the Claremont Review of Books.  I share Jonah’s oft-mentioned enthusiasm for the CRB which is just one of the great publications on the planet, so I am thrilled to have the book reviewed at all there, let alone to find it praised by my longtime friend Steve — an American hero who understood and was fighting the threat of radical Islam before most people (including most people in government) had ever heard of it.

Second, the always terrific Scott Johnson has nice things to say at Powerline, including wondering aloud (as has our friend John Podhoretz at Commentary) why the mainstream media has ignored the book.

I am more grateful than words can say to Steve and Scott.
