Without demeaning his work as Piglet, John Fiedler may be better known to my generation as the diminutive lunatic Mr. Peterson from The Bob Newhart Show. And of course, he had a memorable guest spot on the Show Locked in a Deathmatch with Duran Duran for Corner Space.
Paul Winchell was great, too. I will always remember him on a particularly pie-eyed Brady Bunch episode, playing the director of a soap commercial the family had been cast in. He wore crazy loud shirts and scarves and sunglasses and said “groovy, baby” and was a fantastic parody of the image most of America had of Hollywood.
