I Choose Life

No, I’m not watching the fool debate. Life’s too short. As a mild protest against all these debates, and also for pleasure and self-improvement, I have decided to listen to Beatrice di Tenda instead. Chopin thought highly of this opera, yet it is hardly ever performed. I barely know it; and this seems to me a much bigger hole in my life, infinitely more worth filling, than not knowing what Chris Dodd thinks about ethanol subsidies.
