I was telling a buddy of mine the other day that a week or so into this people would start noticing the shellacking God has delivered to the Muslim world recently. Two Christmases in a row (the day after actually) we’ve had terrible earthquakes. Now, the email is starting. Some folks mention the locusts in allegedly Muslim Africa (I haven’t fact-checked that), others the earthquakes in Turkey not too long ago. This all leaves out earthquakes and badness in non-Muslim areas in recent years, including four hurricanes in Florida in one year (in a Bush state!). Worse, I think it’s a terrible talking point to get started when the web transmits this stuff so quickly. It also invites really, really, really bad karma.
