…Rep. Kendrick Meek (D-Fla.), whose legislative career seems focused mostly on advancing his family’s financial interests, call John Boehner the “Rubberstamp Leader” on the House floor.
He is arguing passionately and melodramatically right now about Republicans “not allowing children to have health care,” which has absolutely nothing to do with the S-CHIP vote taken earlier today.
But I wonder if Meek would volunteer to redirect all that money he has steered to the developer who, according to the Miami Herald, paid off his mother with tens of thousands of dollars, use of a car, and free office space. How about we redirect that developer’s earmark? Meek tried to get him $4 million last year.
