I Promise Not to Do This Again

But I am still getting “Beg to differ on the ‘kid’s shouldn’t be taught how to shoot’ idea. ” e-mails. Teach ‘em responsibily, at an appropriate age (and I think these things are considerations for parents, depending on where you are in the world and who your kids are, etc.)–it is the have-a-gun-for-everyone-in-the-house atttitude that was voiced earlier in The Corner that I was opposing. I refuse to believe that is off the conservative reservation so to speak. It’s just reasonable.
