I Was Too Glib

In my flip remark about the Gang of 14 and its deal to preserve the filibuster, I did readers an injustice who are disgusted in principle by the anti-democratic and anti-representative nature of the filibuster — especially given that the “nuclear option” would have been focused on nominations alone.
