Immigration N of 1

One of my friends is the son of a Dominican immigrant–the largest immigrant group in NYC, according to Mark. His mother came here legally, and went through a certain amount of rigamarole, according to him. Of the immigration bill, he says he doesn’t know what the solution is, but he doesn’t like people cutting to the head of the line.

I wonder how comment such sentiments are among legal immigrants and their children.
