  • Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani dismisses idea of U.S. Interest Section in Iran, quotes former NSC official Hillary Mann to support Iran’s bargaining position.
  • Iran to build five new reactors.
  • (E) Tehran to take delivery of S-300 missiles from Russia.
  • Former mining and industries minister Eshaq Jahangiri says people even can’t afford toilet paper, accuses the Ahmadinejad government of using oil money to import toilet paper from Germany.
  • Michael Rubin is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, senior lecturer at the Naval Postgraduate School’s Center for Civil-Military Relations, and a senior editor of the Middle East Quarterly.
