This reminds me of a fantastic stunt some students at the University of Chicago played back in the dreadful year of 1979. In response to a huge protest staged when the school decided to award an honorary doctorate to Robert McNamara on the grounds that he was a Vietnam war criminal, they founded a group called the “Bourgeois Capitalist Running Dog Lackey Society,” among whose campaign platforms was “use the poor for firewood” — one of the earliest examples of anti-P.C. satire on record.
