This pirate fiasco is getting weirder:
Even as negotiations resumed to free the American captain, pirates manoeuvred an Italian vessel toward the Somali coastline after hijacking it with 16 people onboard in a separate incident on Saturday, pirate sources said.
Aaargh, oi be speaking strictly off the record, lad.
[UPDATE: Some good news this Easter Day. Captain Phillips has been freed by Navy SEALS, and in the course of the operation three of four pirates were killed, which is also good news. As Jules Crittenden points out, Somali pirates continue to hold some 240 hostages.]
