For the first time since the commies and NBC ruined the Olympics I am looking forward to the Games. The Iraqi team will be the perfect storm of message and media. The pure amateur athlete overcoming long odds (as opposed to steroid laden pro’s brought about by the CCCP) meeting with those endless NBC personality profiles.
The stories about Iraqi athletes competing for the first time in years without fear of torture if they do not meet the expectations of the Hussein family should run endlessly. I am expecting numerous interviews of victims of the Iraqi torture machine on network television. This is something that has been conspicuously absent from any of the liberation coverage.
Nothing gets American blood pumping like tortured athletes. Call your friends at the RNC and get them to sponsor the Iraqi water polo team.
