The Associated Press reports:
An unusual secret agreement with a U.N. agency [IAEA] will allow Iran to use its own experts to inspect a site allegedly used to develop nuclear arms, according to a document seen by The Associated Press.
We’re well past the foxes guarding the henhouse. Now we’re allowing the foxes to conduct the inspection of the henhouse where they devoured the hens.
But you have to admire the White House’s unyielding indifference:
Without divulging its contents, the Obama administration has described the document as nothing more than a routine technical arrangement between Iran and the U.N.’s International Atomic Energy Agency on the particulars of inspecting the site.
For some reason, I’m not reassured.
