Iran

A different take, from a military guy:

Here here on your U.N. comments, but cheerleading the explusion of Iran may be hasty. For instance, what happens to the move to diplomatically block the Iranians from acquiring nuclear technology? Would the move help or hurt the growing democratic upswelling amongst the younger generation? How would an internationally unattached Iran react to the move, particularly in their support for terrorists? What precedent does that set in the U.N for expelling nations? By that logic, could the U.S. and U.K. be expelled from the body for invading Iraq (given the global unpopularity of the war?)

Maybe it’s better to adhere to the old cliché, in keeping our friends close and enemies closer.
