Iranian Fauxtography?

Every morning, I try to provide photos from the Iranian news media to give a sense of what Iranians are seeing. Rodger Thomas at Are We Lumberjacks? points out that Fars News Agency may be playing fast and loose with some of their photos. He raises good questions. He also notes in a separate e-mail that the creator of all these pictures is listed as Adobe Photoshop. Still, I agree with him that the value of the photos doesn’t change as the point of each morning’s Iran News Round-Up is to give a sense of what the Iranians are saying, reading, and seeing.
