The Iranians Apologize . . . to U.S.?

Talk about man bites dog! Wednesday is the anniversary of the seizure of the American Embassy in Tehran in 1979. There will be monster rallies all over Iran, mostly to challenge the regime. And as part of that challenge, the leaders of the Green Path of Hope, the main opposition organization, will apologize. So says the London Telegraph.

As I keep saying, it would be an historic irony of mammoth proportions if the Islamic Republic imploded on November 4. Unlikely, to be sure, but life is full of surprises. This apology is certainly one of them, isn’t it?
