Some Iraqi military and law enforcement officers brought to the United States for training have runoff. An Army spokesman gamely says “We don’t know the reasons why they elected not to return to Iraq.” Well, I suppose there could be a security-related reason for their disappearance, but it’s a lot more likely they’re washing dishes at their cousins’ restaurants in San Diego and Detroit, adding to our rich tapestry of 4 million visa-overstaying illegal aliens. What did our people expect these guys were going to do — go back to Iraq?
