Neither Nancy Pelosi or Mitch McConnell care, and Republicans aren’t going to shed any tears, but it’s kind of crazy that with less than two weeks to go before an Iowa caucus that may do much to define our national politics over the next year, and perhaps beyond, three plausible candidates have to sit all day in Washington drinking water or milk listening to an impeachment trial that everyone knows the outcome of.
