Not really, but the social-media heavyweight is changing its name. Forbes reports:
Twitter informed business users Tuesday it is now conducting business as X Corp., confirming a transition previously indicated in court filings as the firm’s billionaire chief Elon Musk continues to reshape the social media company toward his ultimate vision of the X “everything app.”
For now, at least, “Twitter” remains the name of the social-media platform (much as “Facebook” remains the name of the social-media company whose mothership is now Meta Platforms). No word yet on whether X Corp.’s . . . er . . . the X Corp. Twitter handle will be @TheRealTwitter.
