ISIS Burns Captured Jordanian Pilot Alive in Brutal New Video

Negotiations between the Islamic State and Jordan over the fate of a captured Jordanian pilot ended tragically on Tuesday, after the Islamic terrorists released a video showing what appears to the savage execution of Lieutenant Muath al-Kaseasbeh. 

The 22-minute, slickly produced video shows the Jordanian combat pilot dressed in an orange jumpsuit and locked in a metal cage, his clothing doused with flammable chemicals.

A group of Islamic State fighters stand around the cage while the chemicals are set alight, watching silently as flames engulf al-Kaseasbeh and he falls to the ground. 

The Jordanian lieutenant was captured by the ultra-violent Islamist terror group after his F-16 went down over enemy territory on December 24, 2014. The Islamic State was ostensibly considering a prisoner swap with the Jordanian government, demanding the release of failed suicide bomber Sajida al Rishawi in return for al-Kaseasbeh.

The Jordanians demanded proof of their pilot’s life before any swap would be made, worrying that their airman was already dead. Jordanian state TV is reporting that the Islamic State killed the lieutenant one month ago.

Featuring high-end graphics and translations in multiple languages, the video repeatedly threatens the personnel of other nations in the anti-Islamic State coalition, which includes the United States, a number of European countries, and a number of Arab countries.

Jordan’s King Abdullah, in Washington for talks with the White House, decided to cut his trip short on Tuesday and return home.
