In The Grand Jihad, I struggled with the question of what we should call the ongoing threat to Western civilization. Our Powerline pal Scott Johnson asked me to say a few things about the book to his readers, and that’s the topic of my guest-post at Powerline this morning.
Meantime, in yesterday’s New York Post, I had this op-ed describing the Muslim Brotherhood and explaining that “the grand jihad” and the “sabotage” strategy are not ideas I came up with. Instead, they are drawn verbatim from an internal 1991 Brotherhood memo in which the organization’s leaders bluntly explain their plan to destroy America and the West.
