The Daily Mail has some charming photographs of a 9/11 protest outside of the U.S. Embassy in London:
Protesters set fire to the U.S. flag outside the American embassy in London yesterday during a minute’s silence to mark the moment the first hijacked airliner hit the World Trade Centre.
A group of 100 Muslim radicals, including members of Muslims Against Crusades, shouted ‘USA terrorists’ and brandished anti-American placards.
One protester in Grosvenor Square said: ‘You will always face suffering, you will always face humiliation, unless you withdraw your troops from Muslim lands.’
Although the demonstration, led by extremist group Muslims Against Crusades, was ostensibly tied to the American presence in “Muslim lands,” many of the signs told a more nefarious story, most notably the one which read “Islam will dominate the world.” A moment of silence, organized to commemorate the attacks on New York, Washington and Pennsylvania ten years earlier, was broken by protesters shouting slogans through megaphones, and American flags were burned.
