You may not be aware of this, but the stupidity of this type of regulation is affecting schools and daycares as well. We are being told that Moms can no longer make cupcakes for class parties due to DHEC regulations and worries about some of the kids with food allergies coming into contact with peanuts or some other nonsense. As a liberal, even I find this outrageous gov’t intrusion. For goodness sake, how many of us grew up eating cupcakes at school? I suspect lobbying efforts by the grocery industry!
