It Wasn’t Sunglasses At Night

I know liberal media outlets have the unfortunate tendency to be ring-kissing diplomats when left-wing dictators come to town, but does Dana Milbank need to have such an exquisite sensitivity to Hu Jintao’s pride that he finds “indignities” in Dick Cheney donning a pair of sunglasses?

By those lights, every day’s Washington Post is an “indignity” to the White House. To be polite, would they consider closing up shop? It would be the diplomatic thing to do.
