A more serious presidential medal of freedom conversation than the one yesterday: There are heros of this storm–and there will continue to be. So many of hospital folks who saved lives all the while victims themselves of Katrina deserve some kind of recognition. Obviously they can’t all get medals, but a movie should be made about Katrina days at Charity Hospital. Books should be written. People should hear about these people. There are countless stories of Americans being great to one another. I hope we can hear as many of them as is possible.
