House Speaker Nancy Pelosi D-Calif., said Monday she won’t modify language addressing federal funding for abortion services and restrictions banning undocumented immigrants from participating in health insurance exchanges— two areas of major controversy—created under the Senate-passed version of health care overhaul (HR 3590). Pelosi also would not make promises about future legislation to address abortion funding or health care access for illegal immigrants.
