Poor Matt Yglesias was apparently wounded by my post. For all I know his tally of posts by me mentioning his name is accurate and, yes, I mentioned him in my Commentary article (he cheers Obama’s socialism). But I’d guess that if you actually looked at the dates of those posts, you’d see that the vast majority of them are from quite a few years ago when I — like many people — used to value his opinion more than I do now. Regardless, he’ll just have to take my word for it that I’m not “fake-dismissive” of him, merely plain old dismissive and I really do spend long periods of time not caring about him or his goat. I find it funny that he finds this so implausible.
