The Corner

Attention New York Pub-goers!

The Half King is an establishment on West 23rd Street. It is co-owned by Sebastian Junger, the famous reporter and filmmaker. He wrote The Perfect Storm. And he is an important chronicler of American soldiers in our recent wars.

The Half King hosts readings and other literary events. On Monday evening, Junger will sit down with NR’s Jay Nordlinger to discuss the latter’s recent book, Children of Monsters: An Inquiry into the Sons and Daughters of Dictators.

To find out more information, go here. FYI, the menu includes jalapeño poppers and chocolate banana bread pudding.
