, a Reagan-administration veteran, is arguing on Reaganite grounds against regulations on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. (He consults for the latter.) That’s fine. But if he doesn’t want the regulations, then he should be all for getting rid of the implicit subsidies that go to Fannie and Freddie. Oddly enough, I didn’t see anything about that in his op-ed.
