Does anyone know the origin of the phrase “delusions of grandeur”? I always assumed that it was made popular by Han Solo in Return of the Jedi. Certainly it must appear somewhere in literature prior to Jedi. I’ve always wondered, because it seems like everywhere I turn I hear or read this phrase. This isn’t really a serious issue; I just thought you might know the answer, oh Knowledgeable One.
