Jobs, Jobs, Jobs: Public Jobs, That Is

Lawmakers seem to be at a loss about how to create jobs: No matter what they try, unemployment remains high. This Reason TV video showcases what’s happening in California and explains why the state still has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. Turns out California’s policy, much like the rest of the country’s, has focused on saving and creating certain kinds of jobs (public), continuing to spend massive amount of money, and raising taxes.
